WHO WE ARE:
I am the owner of a Tri-Cities, WA. company that has been involved in the remodeling industry for over thirty years–twenty of those years in the local community. We are general contractors specializing in home modification and remodeling with emphasis on the aging and those with ambulatory disability issues. Our goal is simple: We perform home modifications and alterations to allow you to stay in your home and avoid, as long as possible, the dreaded nursing home or assisted living facility. If you are aging and have concerns about being able to move around your home safely and easily, we can help. If you are disabled, we will work with you to provide solutions accommodating to your needs.
I am a disabled veteran and a DAV member as well as a “Certified Aging in Place Specialist” (CAPS) and “Certified Project Manager” (PMI). We have the knowledge, skills and experience to do all major or minor home modification projects. We are a state of Washington authorized vendor and contractor approved to perform state-financed home modification projects for the aging and disabled. We have been thoroughly vetted and background checked by the state of Washington, and we continue to meet the state’s high qualification and performance requirements.
WHAT WE DO:
Simply put, we really can do anything to a house, but we specialize in home remodeling and modification for the sake of accessibility, ease of use, and safety. We work to help the aging and disabled stay in their own homes. We perform complete bathroom tear-outs and replace the fixtures to accommodate the aging and disabled. This work often includes installing walk-in tubs and walk-in/roll-in showers, wall-mounted sinks, safety/grab bars, and other safety and mobility products. We can widen doors or even entire rooms to accommodate wheelchairs and ramps for home access. In the kitchen, we can provide wheelchair-accessible cabinets, sinks, and appliances.
In addition to modifying bathrooms and kitchens, we also do all kinds of tile work and flooring as well as drywall hanging, painting, and finishing work. Electrical and plumbing work is provided by local reputable sub-contractors.
Please look over this website to get an idea of all the products we have available for installation in your home. In addition, in the coming months we hope to be able to offer in-home elevators as well as chair/stair lifts and similar products.
Please contact us to set up an appointment at a time that is convenient for you. We do ask that all “stakeholders” or significant others be involved in planning so that all concerned have input. The initial consultation is free, and we usually are able to offer a “ballpark figure” of involved costs. We are committed to always treating our clients with the utmost courtesy and respect, and we never pressure anyone to “buy today.” You will be working with the company owner and not salespeople. Please contact us and let’s have a conversation about you, your needs, and how we can make your home as comfortable and convenient as it can be.
